Hello, I’m Match. Yes that’s my real name. I take photos and write about my travels …mostly. I want everyone who enjoys photography to get out and take more photos. You don’t need a fancy camera or really even a dedicated camera. The best camera is the one you have on you and for many that is a smart phone.
I’m not a professional photographer, I’m not a professional writer, I’m just an average person writing about my adventures.
I approach writing about photography from this perspective. I don’t have the most expensive camera and I don’t expect you to either. Just get out and enjoy taking pictures and hopefully my adventures will help you.
A little about me
I was born and raised in Florida and moved to Portland, OR in January of 2015 and then to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1018. I’m a fan of the Oxford comma and semi colons. If you want to know, I tend to be liberal. I’m a tech nerd and an Apple fan; I get excited every time they have an announcement. I have two dogs who enjoy getting lots of attention.
